In gardens around the area, you can spot signs of the ever looming seasonal change. August is nearing its end, and with September comes the true turn of autumn to come. Lots of flowers are starting to dry up and go to seed.

there's both an air of expectation for the beauty of autumn, and a wistfulness for the lushness of summer...
Flowers are beautiful even at midlife, as women are! hahaha, salute to the flowers and to the beautiful women!
Yep...my gardens have moved one step beyond the flowers in this photo...which by the way...is a perfect capture of the end of a season. Great job!
Great photo even in their decline. My son and family just moved to Ashland. We have never been to Oregon and are looking forward to visiting.
Great shot!
Wish you a wonderful weekend.
