I had a pretty successful gardening year this year, considering I didn't do much of anything to make it happen. I knew last year that my time gardening would be limited with a newborn, so I planted accordingly. These rose bushes were here when I moved in and have always struggled, but this year seem to have turned a corner and are putting off some gorgeous and very fragrant flowers! I especially liked this one, with its white interior and bright pink exterior petals.

That is such a lovely rose. I love the way the droplets are clinging, they look like little jewels. How nice to be rewarded with such a pretty flower with your newborn keeping your busy!
