Wooly Bear Caterpiller
The wooly bear caterpillar has always been a fun winter weather predictor. The longer the middle orange section, the longer the winter. This fuzzy guy is definitely indicating a long winter for our area.

Oh, I love the colours and textures in this photo!
I heard the more black = a longer winter recently. I guess it depends on where you live? ;-)
Fabulous colors and textures in this photo!
Neat! I haven't seen any woolly bears yet this year. Hmmm.
Never seen one of those critters before - great photo!
Too cute ... and I am not a bit surprised that this will be a long winter this year. We have been in the 20's at night for several weeks already.

Have only seen one this year and can't remember the color ratio. Great shot!
Oh it really is so cute and with lovely colors. I wonder how it would look like as adult!
Loved it's color and the flower. The flower and the bee:) From FFF: my entry: Flowers to make you smile: willyouhearfromme.blogspot.com
Wonderful childhood memories of the Wooly Bear...I've never seen them on pretty flowers before. (I Googled them and found out fascinating information about them! They become the Isabella Tiger Moth, which I had forgotten.)
Hi Sarah! I just joined you and think your blog is my type. I see several familiar faces that are too following me. Please hop over to mine and see what you think? I found you via LeAnne's Hop. I'd love for you to follow me, k?
