Swollen Sandy River

I cannot believe it is already November. Only two more months of the year left! Yikes!

The nonstop rainfall has made the rivers of the area high and fast. This is the Sandy River. You can see in the foreground, parts of the beach that is normally showing are sticking up out of the water a bit, and beyond the first layer of trees, a branch of water is flowing through what is normally dry land. Above the sky is thick with rainclouds, which are also hanging low into the trees.

love the mist in the tree tops and I think the river is aptly named, judging by its color.....is this flooding an unusual occurrence?
