At the beginning of December, I briefly visited Timberline Lodge, up on Mt Hood. I was not able to stay long, but did manage to get a few photos. This is a view looking down from the lodge parking lot at the top of one of the ski trails. You can barely make out the foothills below through the cloudy skies. Since this photo was taken, the mountain has been pounded with snowfall, and has lots of fresh powder for the skiers and snowboarders to enjoy!

I love the stunning scene, but I know I would never be able to ski down it. I get dizzy just looking.

Oh my gosh that is absolutely breathtaking!!! I would love to visit for just a day to take photos....I'm too spoiled with wearing shorts and t-shirts through the winter to stay any longer than that. Thanks for all your help with the reminder newsletter!! It really works...and thank you so much for participating in Cool Clicks!!
