Signs of change

In gardens around the area, you can spot signs of the ever looming seasonal change. August is nearing its end, and with September comes the true turn of autumn to come. Lots of flowers are starting to dry up and go to seed.

Ever Had The Feeling You Were Being Watched?

On Saturday, my husband, son and I joined up with my brother in law and some friends to check out the new frisbee golf (folf) course at Blue Lake Park, about a 10 minute drive from my home. The course was long, but we had fun. I just walked along pushing the stroller and took out my camera a few times for an occasional photo. At one of the holes, my brother in law spotted this tiny frog watching us from a small hole in a nearby tree. He was only about the size of a nickel. He sat patiently while I snapped away.

Ask And You Shall Receive

Someone posted a message on my Hood Photography Facebook Page (which you should take a moment and go like, BTW!) saying that they loved my bees on flowers photos, and wanted to request a butterfly on flowers photo if I could. Well, ask and you shall receive. I went on a walk with some family this weekend and the area we were at was covered in these blooming thistles, and the butterflies were all over them. I have one more that I took that I love that I will post later in the week also!
