Blue Moon

This past weekend we had a beautiful blue moon. I really wish that the name blue moon was a descriptive one. How cool would it be to see an actual blue colored moon?

I wanted to get out early to photograph it as it came up, but I was unable to. I did catch it a bit later, behind a few whispy nighttime clouds.

Ripining Tomatoes

This time of year is awesome because of all the fruits and veggies I am able to harvest out of my little garden. I love the smell of a warm-from-the-sun tomato!

Hope all of my American readers had a relaxing and fun-filled Labor Day weekend. Since this is Hood Photo Blog, I headed up Mt Hood for a part of my weekend. I cant think of a more appropriate photo to post at the start of this new week than one of the mountain, reflected in lake waters.
