Sunbeams

I love sunbeams shining through the clouds. Seems whenever I see them, I do not have a camera handy. These were spotted from my back yard though! I love how they shine down through the clouds, and also up through them into the blue sky above.

Rapids of the Little Zig Zag

Another photo I took from a recent walk along the Little Zig Zag River. There was a lot of water rushing along the small river, considering it is late summer.

Yesterday, I was featured on Photographers Connection for their weekly column, Travel Tuesday. I wrote a photographers journey of the Mt Hood Loop and am proud to have been chosen to have my photography shared!

First Changing Leaves

In only a few days, you can see the colors of the leaves starting to change. It has been over 2 months since it has rained here in the Portland metro area, which is pretty unheard of. The trees and plants are looking very tired and beaten.

Bird Tracks

I am not sure what made these tracks. Probably a goose or duck. They were taken along side a body of water, so being the Nancy Drew that I am, I came to that conclusion. Pretty smart, eh? With that being said, I am probably wrong ;)
