Welcome to week 13 of Orange You Glad It's Friday!
In much of my area, we have entered the in-between stage between autumn and winter. Some areas still are vibrant and colorful, but for the most part, the trees are looking pretty bare, the grasses brown, and the bushes droopy. It has also been raining pretty consistently for a few weeks. Luckily, we have had a break from it all and were lucky enough to have some sunny weather on Wednesday and Thursday. Hopefully it lasts for a bit. I like being able to go enjoy the outdoors!
I love the contrasting colors of this burning bush fruit in this weeks featured photo, coming to us from PhotoDoug. A great example of submitting a photo with just a little orange, but that packs a big punch!
Thanks to everyone who submitted. Lets do it again, shall we? How about now? ;)
Every Friday 12:01am PST, I will open the blog up for posts. Rules are simple. Post a picture that you have taken or piece of art you have created (or have permission to use) with a little or a lot of orange, share your link below, visit others and comment on their orange takes, leave a comment here if you wish.
Each week, I will feature a favorite submission from the previous week with a link to the participants blog.
DON'T FORGET -- Be sure to include an Orange You Glad It's Friday Badge or link back to this blog in your post. To add a badge, just copy and paste the HTML code from below!
I appreciate everyone spreading the word about Orange Friday. See a great photo on another site that has a little or a lot of orange? Suggest they stop by and submit it here. This is still a young meme and I need your help to get participation :)
You can also get updates and reminders of Orange You Glad It's Friday on Facebook! Also, even if you do not have a blog, you are welcome to post photos uploaded to Facebook. Just enter the URL of the photo to Linky Tools below to join!
