Rain Returns

It is not very common in January in Oregon to not have rain for a whole week, but last week was dry an entire 7 straight days! I took advantage by taking my son out on as many walks as possible. It was cold, but dry and not even very windy. Very unusual. But the rains have now returned, and will probably stick around for a while now.

I'm happy for the rain because it means new snow up on the mountain! And Hood needs some more powder... :)

Great shot of the raindrops! :)
I can handle the cold as long as it's not windy.

You take absolutely gorgeous macro shots.

A week with no rain in January!!! I can count on one hand how many times that happened in my 35 years in Portland. I had a salesman in from Seattle today, they must have had the same dry spell. He said they had a week of dense fog and welcomed the rain back.

I love your blog, it reminds me so much of my old home.

Good for you about the rain, when we are just approaching our hot dry season. I love taking water drops too, and seeing lots in blogs i observed that droplets in temperate climes stay longer attached to something, and they are more elongated without dropping at once. In our hot climate, drops are shorter and get loose at once!
