Tanner Creek Slide Area
Standing on a bridge over Tanner Creek, the water rushing below you, you can't help but look to the left and right sides of the canyon and wonder how it got that way. The boulders in the creek bed are huge, and you can see the crevices in the rock walls above you where they fell from. There was a huge slide here in 1973, and the boulders came crashing down and created this maze for the water to careen through before making its way downstream.
