Wahclella Falls

Wahclella Falls, also known as Tanner Creek Falls, is the gorgeous reward for hiking an easy, short trail in the Columbia River Gorge. The two tiered falls was running at full force when I visited two weekends ago. I love the feeling when you approach a waterfall. The air cools and the mist hits you. You know you are about to experience something breathtaking.

It is breathtaking to see a waterfall. I can smell the water first. Then I hear it. What's not to like except the hike there. Happy New Year!

And thanks for stopping by Portland Oregon Daily Photo. I've been trying to remember to put that link there for City Daily Photo--I hope folks will click and go all over, enjoying themselves.

ahh! I had been here, early July morning at around 6:00AM. It was a refreshing hike with cool breeze and the waterfalls seemed like an fierce angel. Lovely photo.
