Suction Cup Lichen

I do not know the true name of this yellow lichen, but I dubbed it Suction Cup Lichen, because looks like little upside-down suction cups covering this entire branch.

  5. Lichens and moss make such great macro subjects. I've been eyeing a dead branch in the park with this same sulphur yellow lichens growing on it. Will need to see if it is a collection of suction cups too! Aptly named.

  6. I think that if the name isn't "suction cup," it should be re-named that because it's perfect! Thank you for sharing such a beautiful image. :)
