I am very very lucky to live where I do. On any given weekend I can pack up my son, his backpack carrier, meet up with hiking buddies and trek out into the woods to discover the beauty that our area provides. This is a simple trail, but surrounded by fern covered ground and moss covered rocks and trees, in itself is a stunning sight.

The area you live in is so lush and green. I don't blame you for wanting to be out in it all the time.
The rockiness of that trail would be difficult for me to hike but I sure would like too.

so many wondrous greens. I feel the same way about where I live, a different climate and terrain, but oh so beautiful, all year round.
I know this is in Oregon and I'm afraid I probably have a similarly long list for North Carolina, but this looks like it could be over on the Appalachian Trail. It would be the Pacific Northwest trail, even. :)
