Skeletons of Winter
While signs of spring are popping up all around, the leftover skeletons of fall and winter are still very prominent anywhere you go. These beaten up remains of a wild carrot plant are still standing, despite the rains and winds of winter. Soon the field it is in will be overtaken with new growth.

This is Beautiful. Your lucky to have spring start already. I have 8 inches of snow coming tomorrow. But they say spring is on it's way. :) Have a great week. Lynne
Aren't wild carrots fascinating plants? I love seeing them in all stages.

They're very pretty. I've always found seeds and pods very interesting.
Even though it's a skeleton - a flower in any state is beautiful:)
Lovely.
Great shot n I love the title!
That's wonderful part about spring... New life! :)
Wish we were seeing more signs of spring...I'm getting tired of snow, snow and more snow!!!

I can't wait! No signs of Spring here yet!
Beautiful shot!
Oh my goodness, it looks so dreary and winterish!! I can't wait for spring either. We do have some signs of spring, but we may get several snow storms yet.
