Looking Down on a Trillium

I have taken many, many photos of trilliums. They are my favorite flower. I am challenged with taking a new perspective when I come across one I want to photograph.

A few of my favorite flower photos are being featured on Todays Flowers this weekend! Thank you Denise, for choosing me to be a Guest Friend!

Lastly, I have gained quite a few new Facebook followers lately. I am close to 300 likes, and would be pretty pleased to reach that in this first week of June. If you have not already, please Like Hood Photography on Facebook!

  5. Lovely photos, all of them. In the feature batch, I was particularly charmed by the last one although each was special in it's own way.
Trilliums and I have been friends since we lived in Canada in the late 50's.

  9. I know what you mean about finding a new perspective on a favorite flower. My peonies and roses are beginning to bloom and I wonder if I will be able to find something fresh.

Love the simplicity and symmetry of the angle you chose. Beautiful.
