"White" Falls

This waterfall is a place I have known of for a very long time. In a past life, I used to visit here often. It was made inaccessible for a while by the owner of the land surrounding it. However, the land is now up for sale, and we were able to venture out and explore it once again. It has no name that I know of, and most of the time when you go there, you have the entire place to yourself. I have dubbed it "White Falls", after the person that showed me where it was located way back when.

I was so amazed by the gorgeous color of the water of Eagle Creek this past weekend. It was completely translucent. You could easily see the bottom of the flowing water, no matter how deep it was. Amazingly beautiful.

I took a week off from photographing anything new. I came to the realization that I love the path I am on. I love nature. I love the area I live in. I love learning the things my camera can do and I love to showcase those newly learned abilities in my landscapes, macro and nature photography. Those are where I am concentrating my efforts. Thank you to everyone who has followed this blog, and who have "liked" me on Facebook. I appreciate each and every single one of you.

Todays photo was taken on a wonderful hike this weekend with a dear old friend of mine. I have only recently reconnected with this friend and am excited to have the opportunity to visit old and new places of interest of ours together in the future.

I start with this photo because I just happened upon it by pure accident. I was coming back up the path we visited this weekend and saw dangling off to the side. I captured this beautiful frozen weed, before it met its melted demise in the sun that was peeking thru the clouds above us.
