I hope everyone had a nice Valentines Day. I do not celebrate Valentines Day myself. It is just too close to my birthday, and I do not need my husband to go overboard in showing he loves me twice in one week I would rather spread it out throughout the year personally. HAHA!

Multnomah Falls in Winter

On Monday, my words and photography were again shared on Travel Oregon's website and Facebook pages!

I hiked to the top of Multnomah Falls almost a month ago, and waited to post anything about it until after the story had been published. This is another shot from that day, which shows the entire drop of the two tiered falls, with Benson Bridge in the middle.

I went on a great hike on Saturday for my birthday with some friends, my husband, and our son. We came upon a viewpoint and this expanse layed out in front of us. This is the Columbia River Gorge, looking east.

It has still been fairly mild considering it is February. This photo was taken about a month ago, when the weather was more wintery, as it usually is this time of year.
