Overlooking Timberline Lodge

This photo was taken to submit to a pair of websites that my photography is regularly featured on. This is my favorite time of year to visit the iconic Timberline Lodge, and I love this view the best - looking at the Lodge from behind and the valley spread out below.

Isolated Stairway

I love coming across staircases in nature, especially when they are leading you to an amazing place. These are especially attractive to me because they are seemingly being taken over by the ferns and moss of the rocky wall that the stairs are built into.

Still Freezing Overnight

While it has been warm, even sunny at times the past week, it still has been freezing most nights. This was taken first thing in the morning as the sun was just hitting by back lawn. The blades are still dewy and frost-covered. My grass has not been mowed yet for the first time this year, so its a jungle back there!!!
