A last post from my trip to the tulip farm last weekend. I find this spring, I am a bit obsessed with the center of flowers. The delicate details and challenge to make a sharp image call out to my macro photography cravings! How could I resist this tulips gorgeous colors?

While I had hoped for a gorgeous, sunny day when I visited the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm last Sunday, Oregon weather flatly said NO! But I have to admit, I loved the way that the dark, stormy skies made the colors of the flowers pop. We did not get rained on the entire visit, despite the obvious threats from above.

How can I resist posting another tulip photo from my visit to the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farms? There were hundreds of varieties. I particularly liked the two toned ones, and these candy cane looking ones were particularly striking.

There are multiple tractors displayed in the fields at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm in Woodburn. This is the most commonly photographed, probably because it is the classic John Deere tractor. I tried to capturing the old timey feel of the tractor and the gorgeous surrounding flower beds.

This past weekend I visited the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm in Woodburn, OR. This is one of many, many varieties of tulips that can be seen when browsing the massive fields of flowers. I will post more from my visit to the farm this week.
