Looking Down on a Trillium

I have taken many, many photos of trilliums. They are my favorite flower. I am challenged with taking a new perspective when I come across one I want to photograph.

A few of my favorite flower photos are being featured on Todays Flowers this weekend! Thank you Denise, for choosing me to be a Guest Friend!

Lastly, I have gained quite a few new Facebook followers lately. I am close to 300 likes, and would be pretty pleased to reach that in this first week of June. If you have not already, please Like Hood Photography on Facebook!

The Last Moments of Dusk

My favorite place on Earth, Trillium Lake. There was a pretty fantastic sky as dusk hit and the clouds danced around Mt Hood.

Flow

Walking the path that circles around Trillium  Lake, we came to one of the many footbridges and this was the water off to the side. The bubbles so simply showed the slow flow of the water.

Trail Thru Trees at Trillium

I have come to a realization that I love taking photos of the places I hike. Lately I have been taking a lot of photos of the trails I walk or hike. This is my favorite place on Earth. I have been waiting all winter to visit Trillium Lake, and was able to this past Memorial Day weekend. More to come...

Happy Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day to my American visitors. This is a photo I took yesterday of my grandfathers final resting place, located in the Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. The sea of flags is truly a sight to see.
