I have been waiting for the chance to capture a truly breathtaking sunset this summer. It seemed every time I was in the right place with my camera, the end of the day proved to be less dramatic that I had hoped. However, on Monday evening, there was a break in the overcast clouds that had hung around all day, creating the perfect scenario for a beautiful sunset. My son and I headed out to Lake Salish in Fairview for our evening walk and eagerly awaited the sun to go down. It was unbelievably pretty. The constant changing of the clouds and colors was simply amazing, and well worth the wait! This is just one of the favorite captures I took that evening.
