Emerald Falls

Emerald Falls, sometimes referred to as Lower Gorton Creek Falls, is a small cascading drop along Gorton Creek. It is super easy to reach via a short, 3/4 mile walk along an out and back trail. The waterfall serves as the water source to the Wyeth Campground, located at the trailhead downstream. These falls also mark the end of the trail. For the adventurous, you can continue up the creek to take in dramatic Gorton Creek Falls, which I also made my way to and will post about later.
